ADS-B Exchange
The ADS-B Exchange is the world's largest source of unfiltered flight data. It embraces the enthusiast community and is not focused on profit.
Other services, such as FlightAware and FlightRadar24 are profit-focused corporations who use your data primarily to make millions of dollars per month. We have kept this guide Exchange-agnostic since these companies do maintain an interest from the community, but we highly recommend you contribute first to ADB-S Exchange since it has the community's interests at heart.
Benefits of Feeding
Feeding data to ADS-B Exchange offers some useful benefits:
Allows enthusiasts to get access to the data in your region
Access to the API and data for free as long as it is used for non-commercial purposes
The warm fuzzy feeling that you are helping others
Knowing your data is put to good use beyond profit, such as by research organizations that are helping to reduce human trafficking and criminal enterprises
Partnerships
C4ADS - a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing data-driven analysis and evidence-based reporting on global conflict and transnational security issues.
